TRAINELEC – set up 2002 – is dedicated to the design and production of electric traction converters for the rail industry from metros and light rail to high-speed trains.. The electrical traction equipment is vital for the vehicles’ performance and reliability and forms an important part of its cost. One of the main strategic lines is the development of its own technology.
To do so, as a major asset, TRAINELEC has a team of young, competent and dynamic specialists. The engineers are specialised in important areas as: automatics, power electronics, electro-mechanical design, microelectronics and software.
TRAINELEC also has a modern laboratory for research and development of new solutions and for design testing
